As the investigation delved deeper, it revealed a sprawling network of fraudsters. These criminals were funneling millions of rupees through rented bank accounts and virtual payment accounts (VPAs). Subscription amounts ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 500 were being deposited into these accounts, which were closely associated with the illicit firm known as Ekbet.

As part of the comprehensive operation, the authorities have successfully blocked 27 illegal gambling websites operating from foreign locations.
